Sri Chandru Vaidyar started his Ayurveda Practice under the famous Munda Vaidhyar who was an expert in medical practice as well as surgery in the past generation.
After the demise of Sri Munda Vaidyar, Sri Chandru Vaidhyar who started an Ayurvedic Instritution with the name Ayurveda Medicals by the side of Kunnamkulam-Pattambi Road in 1942, became an expert in Aurvedic Surgery especially in cataract and he had treated patients according Ayurvedic Panchakarmavidi
The present owner of Ayurveda Medicals, Dr. K.V.SHANMUKADAS had the fortune to be a trainee of Sri Chandru Vaidhyar, after his Ayurveda College education.
After the period of Sri Chandru Vaidhyar along with active medical practice he concentrated in the medicine manufacturing field and obtained the Drugs License in 1982 and attained G.M.P.Certificate also, according to The Govt. of India as per the direction of W.H.O. started from a very small scale, presently possessing nearly five hundred generic medicines and 42 patented and proprietery
drugs.
Recently we started an Ayurvedic Treatment Centre with
good Clinical Practice [ G.C.P.] in the name KALARIKKAL
CHANDRU VAIDYAR MEMORIAL AYURVEDIC NURSING HOME with all
the facilities of Panchakarma, Rejuvanation Theraphy and
Sidha, Kalari Marma Prayoga.
